David Jankowitz, Esq.
Principal
David is a former commercial attorney who has spent the last 17 years representing business owners and high net worth families in delivering capital markets solutions through Citibank while at Smith Barney, and through Bank of America and its affiliated sponsors where he served as a Senior Vice President in Merrill Lynch’s Wealth Management division. His vast network of legal and capital market partners has provided David with a diverse background and capabilities to develop business for Paramount. David Graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Finance and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida School of Law.
Daehyun "DH" Kang
Managing Partner
Prior to joining Paramount, DH worked as a senior manager for Meritz Securities Co., Ltd. in Seoul, Korea in charge of Meritz’s project financing division with more than 20 team members. DH completed more than 30 real estate development project syndications for his clients generating more than USD 50MM in fees and profit sharing for Meritz. DH continues to benefit from his vast network of contacts with numerous Korean institutions and serves as main contact person for Paramount's deals in Korea. DH graduated from Hanyang University in Seoul with a BS in architecture and obtained his master’s degree from Univ. of Pennsylvania in urban planning.
Chan Shik Kim
Senior Advisor - Korean Institutional Capital
Mr. Kim began his career as an investment manager at Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance Co. (HDMF), one of the top 3 property and casualty insurance companies in Korea, where he led the execution of portfolio investments which included fixed income, equities, derivatives and alternative investments. From 2006, he served for four years as the first President of Hyundai Investment America, the US investment subsidiary of HDMF, where Mr. Kim established business plans and executed the company’s investment portfolio strategies including its real estate investment. Mr. Kim then led the Financial Planning & Investment Evaluation Department for three years, performing asset allocations and portfolio management. Mr. Kim was also a member of HDMF’s Investment Committee to make decisions and execute the investment strategies of multi-asset portfolios. Mr. Kim graduated from George Washington University with an MBA in Finance and Investment.
Yosef Lee, Esq.
Managing Director - Multi Family Investments
Yosef is a successful litigation attorney and an avid real estate investor. Yosef specializes in multifamily assets and manages overall process of multifamily investments from sourcing competitive deals, underwriting, due diligence, financing, and structuring partnerships. Prior to joining Paramount, Yosef, while working as a busy litigation attorney, successfully acquired and managed more than 560+ units across 6 multifamily assets as a syndicator/general partner. Yosef will be managing Paramount’s acquisition efforts into multifamily assets in New York/New Jersey area through Paramount’s subsidiary DreamTree Capital. Yosef is licensed to practice law in the State of New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Yosef completed his Juris Doctorate program at Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra University and a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York.
